2. Noguests are permitted to play Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays unless at least one member is in the foursome. A member may have only one guest if playing prior to 10:45 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, or Hilidays but may play with up to three guests if play is started between 10:45 a.m. and 12:00 Noon or after 1:00 p.m. Members may arrange through the Pro Shop for a foursome of guests to play the course without him on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, with the member being responsible for the guests' conduct and expenses as if he were present. 3. Arrangements for outside guest parties must be made at least seventy-two hours in advance. 4. There must be at least twenty players to run a weekend Club Sweeps. Any monies not used will be applied to another week. 5. In order to have successful golfing events, we must have a deadline for signing up. The deadline is 6:00 p.m. two days prior to the event. The Golf Committee shall have the final decision regarding the number of participants for scheduled golf events. The Golf Committee reserves the right to assign a handicap to any non-member participating in a club event. 6. All Golfers, whether walking or riding, are required to register at the Pro Shop before teeing off. The Golf Professional has complete authorization to control the starting tee. Golfers desiring to start on holes other than #1 tee must obtain approval in the Pro Shop. 7. Extended stops of more than five minutes, after finishing play on the front nine, are prohibited. Golfers who make extended stops lose their right-of-way on the back nine. 8. No more than four golfers in a group are permitted to play during the official season. Pro Shop approval is necessary for additional players during the off season. 9. The Course is to be played in normal hole numbers sequence. Skipping around and cutting in front of others without permission is prohibited. The Pro Shop must approve starts on any tee other than number one tee. 10. All golfers are requested to complete play in a reasonable ammout of time, approximately four hours. 11. No pull carts are permitted at any time. Golfers who walk should offer to allow faster players to pass if more than one hole is open to the front. 12. Young people wishing to play golf on the golf course must have a Junior Membership and follow all of the rules regarding Junior members. Practice areas are part of the course. Parents are responsible for teaching the golf etiquette to their children before course play and their conduct during play. 13. All players must take either a caddie or cart, if available, until 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays between April 1st and October 31st.c 14. Before 1:30 p.m. on weekends and holidays, any play, other than a foursome, are subject to being paired with other players at the Golf Shop's discretion. |
